Privacy Policy

Effective May 5, 2026

This policy describes how RVLS, LLC collects, uses, and safeguards information from visitors of our website. We've written it to be readable — no dark patterns, no fine print designed to be ignored.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how RVLS, LLC ("RVLS," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit rvlstech.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us online.

This page is maintained by RVLS, LLC to answer common questions about how we handle information from our website visitors. It is not legal advice and does not create any contractual obligation beyond what is required by applicable law. If you have specific legal questions, please consult an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.

2. Information We Collect

We collect a limited set of information so we can respond to inquiries, operate the Site, and improve our services. The categories below describe what we collect and where it comes from.

  • Information you provide. When you submit our contact or project-intake form, we collect the fields you fill in — typically your name, work email, project budget range, and a description of your project — so we can follow up.
  • Information from email. If you email us directly at info@rvlstech.com, we receive whatever your email contains, plus standard email metadata (sender, timestamps, message headers).
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate timestamps of visits. This helps us understand traffic patterns and diagnose problems.
  • Cookies and similar. We use a small number of first-party cookies and standard analytics tools to remember basic preferences (such as whether you have dismissed a notice) and to count anonymous visits. We do not sell this data.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to project inquiries and provide requested quotes.
  • Communicate with you about services, follow-ups, and proposals you have asked for.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our internal business processes.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not use the information you submit through the contact form to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

  • Service providers. We use vetted vendors to help us run the Site — including our hosting provider, email/CRM provider, and an analytics platform. These providers receive only the information needed to perform the service for us and are contractually obligated to protect it.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with a law, valid legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RVLS, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. If RVLS is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users where required by law.
  • With your direction. We may share information with other parties at your request or instruction — for example, if you ask us to send a proposal to a colleague.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Do Not Track

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. We use a minimal set:

  • Strictly necessary. Used for core site functionality such as form submission and load balancing. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Analytics. Used in aggregate to count visits and understand which pages are most useful. Analytics data is anonymized or pseudonymized where supported by the vendor and is used only to improve our Site.
  • Preferences. Used to remember small UI choices you have made, such as dismissing a banner.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, parts of the Site may not work as expected. We also honor browser-level "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control signals where technically feasible.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we have a business or legal reason to do so. Project inquiries are retained while we are actively discussing a potential engagement and for a reasonable period afterward so we can reference past conversations. Analytics logs are retained on a rolling basis (typically 13–24 months) and then aggregated or deleted. You can request earlier deletion as described in the "Your Rights" section below.

7. Security

No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We use commercially reasonable safeguards — encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on internal systems, and least-privilege access for employees and contractors — to protect the information we collect. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately using the details at the bottom of this page.

8. Your Rights (California / CCPA-CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to the personal information we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months:

  • Right to know. Request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of recipients.
  • Right to delete. Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of at this time. If this changes, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism.
  • Right to limit. Request that we limit the use of sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to provide the services.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@rvlstech.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf in accordance with applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Site and services are not directed to children under 13 (and in some jurisdictions, under 16), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child in error, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, such as portfolio references, blog articles, or partner pages. RVLS is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice — for example, by emailing active prospects or posting a notice on our homepage. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy.
